Weapons vs. Ships Shields

This section outlines the number of a specific shield classification it requires to absorb the effects of each weapon.
I have included orbital weapons, such as Orbital Missile Bases and Long Range Orbital Whoppers, as well as the Myrmidonic
Carbonizer.

Note that the table lists the number of shield modules of that type it takes to take a shot from a specific weapon without
taking any damage at all. If the power of a shot from a weapon is greater than the total of your shield modules, your ship's
hull will take the amount of damage of a shot minus the absorbing power of your shields.

NOTE: Even with 18 Ion Wrap shield stuffed into an enormous ship hull, it is not enough to stop the Myrmidonic Carbonizer (20 power).

Example 1:
If your ship has 3 Ion Wraps (3 shield score) and gets hit with a plasmatron (4 damage) your ships hull will take 1 damage (4-3=1).
Example 2:
If your ship has 2 Hyperwave Nullifiers (2*4=8 shield score) and gets hit with 2 Hypersphere Driver shots (each shot 10 damage)
your ships hull will take 4 damage (2*(10-8)=4).
Example 3:
If your ship has 3 Nanoshells (3*5=15 shield score) your ship can not take any damage from weapons, except the Myrmidonic Carbonizer
or if you ship runs out of energy to power your shields.


Ships Weapons vs. Orbital Shields

This section outlines the number of shots from your ship required to take out an orbital shield or orbital mega shield.
Basically an Orbital Shield has strength 15 and an Orbital Mega Shield has strength 35.
Contrary to ships shields, orbital shields do not absorb, but always take damage with each shot and do not recover
and can not be repaired. It is not possible in game to see how much damage an orbital shield has already taken.
The only way to keep your planet shielded is build new orbital shields.
